What you get

A truck, a crew, and one price

Not a van rental. We turn up with the vehicle and the people to carry.

We do the carrying

Our trucks, our crews, and more than one of each. The team that turns up is sized to the job, so a whole villa does not become six timid little trips. Nobody hands you a dolly and wishes you luck.

Trips do not cost extra

Too much for one load? We go back and forth until it is done, and the price does not move. A trailer comes along for the long and bulky things.

A published rate, and a real number

2,900 THB the first m³, 700 after. You know the rate before you call, and no hourly meter runs while someone finds the stairs. For anything bigger than a few boxes one of us comes to look first, free and with no obligation, so you get a figure before the day rather than on it.

Prices

What will it cost?

2,900 THB for the first m³, then 700 THB per additional m³, whatever the number of trips. Here is roughly what that means for a typical move.

A few boxes
Suitcases, boxes, sports gear · about 2-3 m³
3,600-4,300
THB, all in
A studio
One room of furniture and belongings · about 5-8 m³
5,700-7,800
THB, all in
A one-bedroom
Bed, wardrobe, sofa, the usual · about 9-14 m³
8,500-12,000
THB, all in
A two-bedroom villa
A family worth of furniture · about 15-22 m³
12,700-17,600
THB, all in
How the cubic metres are counted
  • The rate is public and the same for everyone: 2,900 THB for the first m³, 700 THB for each one after it.
  • The volume comes from the visit, not from a photo. Someone sees what is going, counts the cubic metres and tells you the figure before the day. The visit costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
  • You are not paying for time. A slow day, a long driveway or three flights of stairs do not change the figure.
  • Nor does the number of trips. One load or six, the m³ are the m³.
  • Two boxes per m³ come with it, tape included. Extra boxes are 60 THB each.

How it works

Three steps, one message

Send us the access

WhatsApp us what is moving, your dates, and photos of the access at both ends. We check the truck can actually get there before we say yes.

One of us comes to look

For anything beyond a few boxes, someone from the team visits first, free and with no obligation: they size up the cubic metres and check the access with their own eyes. That is where your number comes from.

We move it, and count the m³

Truck, crew, and your things where they need to be. The volume is counted on what we actually load, at the published rate.

"We were extremely late, and instead of being annoyed with us, the owners met us with love and compassion. The gentleman even helped move our heavy stuff! Hands down the very, the very best."

"Having been a frequent traveler to Samui for over 35 years I needed a trusted and reliable method to store my motorbike and personal items… JP and Hive offered a combined storage option and set a flat rate for both… price was reasonable and the service was excellent… if you need storage this is by far the best option on the island."

FAQ

Before you book

Which parts of Koh Samui do you cover?
All of it, and only it. Chaweng, Bophut, Fisherman's Village, Choeng Mon, Lamai, Maenam, Bang Rak, Plai Laem, Nathon, Taling Ngam. We do not move between islands.
How is the price calculated?
By volume, at a rate that is fixed and public: 2,900 THB for the first cubic metre, then 700 THB for every cubic metre after it. That covers the truck, the crew, the driving and the unloading, whatever the number of trips. The volume itself comes from the visit: someone sees what is going and counts the cubic metres, because nobody can judge that from a distance and we would rather not pretend to. The guide above will tell you roughly where your move sits in the meantime.
What if it does not fit in one trip?
Then we come back. The number of trips does not change the price, and we can hitch a trailer for long or bulky loads.
Do I have to store with you to book a move?
No. The move and a storage unit are two separate things. Plenty of moves go straight from one villa to another.
Does someone come and see it first?
For anything beyond a few boxes, yes, and it is free with no obligation. Someone from the team comes to the property, works out how many cubic metres are moving and checks the access with their own eyes. That visit is where your figure comes from, which is why we do not try to guess it over the phone. You are free to walk away after it.
How does payment work?
Card, bank transfer, PromptPay QR, or cash.
Do you bring boxes?
Two boxes per cubic metre come with the move, tape included. That is more than most people need, because a move is mostly furniture and boxes are for the small things. Extra boxes are 60 THB each, so tell us roughly how many you want when you message us and we bring them along.
What about stairs?
Included, within reason. Two or three floors of a house is an ordinary day for us. A tenth-floor flat with no lift is not, so if that is your situation say it up front and we will tell you honestly whether we can take it on.
Why do you ask for photos?
They are the quick first look. A narrow soi, a steep driveway or a sandy track changes what we bring and sometimes whether we can come at all, and it is far better to find that out from your phone than with a loaded truck. For anything bigger than a few boxes, one of the team then comes in person to size the move and see the access properly.
What languages do you speak?
English, Thai and French, fluently.
